Derani Design Concept
Derani is the cabernet grape color which is the main theme of this concept. Related to the city of Darayya, which is one of the biggest cities in the Damascus Suburbs, it is famous for its big, round grapes. The colors hold meaning in our designs: green which brings life, and brown, which represents the harsh land.
The people of that region have shown a courageous civil spirit typical of our people during troubling times. Their city faced an organized bombing which destroyed its presence during the recent war in Syria. Yet their spirit continues to persevere.
